I’m a Madrid-born, Brooklyn-based cinematographer and director. After obtaining a degree in political science, I worked for a few years doing social research, but soon shifted gears and went on to graduate in cinematography from Madrid’s Film Institute.
Thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship, I moved to NYC in 2011 to continue my education and pursue NYU’s Graduate Film program, where now - after graduating in 2016 - I serve as an adjunct professor and teach two cinematography courses.
I’m a team worker, I thrive in collaborative environments, and I’m passionate about visual storytelling. I’m drawn to bold, creative and honest narratives that reflect on the complexities of our time.
Netflix just released the original feature See You Yesterday, executive produced by Spike Lee, which I lensed for director Stefon Bristol. Nosotros is my feature-length directorial debut.
I’m represented by Gersh. My agent in NYC is Tara Kromer (firstname.lastname@example.org). I’m a proud member of the Spanish Society of Cinematographers (AEC).
