About

I’m a Madrid-born, LA-based cinematographer.

I originally graduated in political science, which might explain my interest in stories that deal with social structures, power dynamics, and collective action.

I started working in film in Spain, back in 2008. Three years later, a Fulbright Scholarship brought me to the US, where I have since developed my career.

I truly enjoy the collaborative nature of filmmaking. I choose my projects based on the script, the director’s vision, and the group of creatives that will bring the story to life.

In my career I’ve had the privilege to work alongside artists as inspiring as Spike Lee, Andrew Ahn, Raven Jackson, Stefon Bristol, Ryan Zaragoza, Steve Basilone, Sheldon Chau, Arlen Konopaki, José Manuel Vélez, Alec Jarnagin, Pepe Ávila del Pino, Roberto San Eugenio, Katie Hickman, Roman Hankewycz, Joe Gawler, Víctor Magro, Noel Rayo, and Miguel “Maiki” Calvo.

I’m a proud member of IATSE - Local 600, and the Spanish Society of Cinematographers (AEC). I’m represented worldwide by The Gersh Agency.
